Ignite Recruitment are currently seeking multiple Experienced Street Cleaning Operatives for immediate start working for the local authority.
The role involves cleaning the roads used by vehicles and pedestrians, the usage of sweeping equipment and machinery to remove waste, leaves, or debris from streets.
Role details:
  • Monday - Friday 6am – 2pm ; 2pm-10pm
  • Maintain and operate a street barrow.
  • Hand sweeping of pavements and footpaths and operate leaf blower equipment to aid with sweeper clearance.
  • Collection and clearance of litter, leaves and other waste in designated areas, emptying litter and recycling bins.
  • Collecting and removal of fly tipping.
  • Undertake, working alone or part of a team, the cleansing of footpaths, pavements, and the local area.
  • You will be responsible for covering planned daily routes around the Enfield and Edmonton
